Mattie Rose is a Texas Country Singer/Songwriter born and raised just north of Fort Worth, TX and now based in Nashville, Tennessee. She depends on her Texas twang and "I'm fixin' to" showing in both life and songwriting. Mattie's music is raw and passionate.

Mattie began her musical journey at the early age of three when she started singing along to Disney princess tunes in the back of her "mama's" car. Later on, Mattie started taking vocal lessons with a classically trained opera singer at age eight to further her vocal technique. Through the years, she's experimented with many genres that she loved before finally pursuing country music in 2020. From being in musicals and worship bands, to performing in local bars, festivals, and more this young artist is moving up in the ranks! 

 

Mattie Rose's DEBUT SINGLE "Square One" was released on December 28th, 2021. Following the upbeat tunes of "Square One" came a heart-wrenching ballad titled "Leavin' Tennessee" released May 1st, 2022.

Mattie Rose has now released her debut EP titled "Whiskey Me Away." The songs represent the stages of grief one goes through when their heart is broken. It's Texas Country Rock and Americana vibes root themselves in true stories about both her life and others. Her latest single “Mrs. Right”, released April 1st, 2024, encompasses her fiery spirit and the fun of never being Mrs. Right.

 

Mattie Rose's newest single, STILL GONE is to be released on February 14th, 2025 at 12:00 AM. Nashville is Mattie's home away from home. If she's not in Fort Worth, Texas, you can find her in Music City.
